About the job:
Reconext is seeking a talented Mechanical and Process Simulation Engineer with expertise in Visual Components and SolidWorks to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing 3D manufacturing simulations and optimizing manufacturing processes. You will also develop innovative solutions for testing consumer electronics, while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
Your daily adventures:
- Create automated manufacturing solutions by designing manufacturing and process models in 3D simulation environments.
- Develop manufacturing processes and Visual Components scripts for simulation environments.
- Debug and optimize manufacturing simulations and processes, including Visual Components scripts.
- Develop and design solutions for consumer electronics testing technology.
- Create and update technical documentation for part manufacturing and assembly, including 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that simulations fulfill specific project requirements. Supervise projects and provide design advice.
We are looking for someone with:
- Expertise in SolidWorks and other CAD design software.
- Good experience with Visual Components for 3D manufacturing simulations and process modeling, or similar simulation environments.
- Familiar with Python, including writing and troubleshooting small code snippets in VC scripts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanics or mechatronics is an advantage.
