About the job:
Reconext is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our Software and Web Applications. Your mission will be to develop and execute robust test plans, implement automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless software solutions. Your daily adventures:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Product-Specific Software and Web Applications.
- Perform software manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure that the Product-Specific Software and Web Applications meet high-quality standards in terms of performance, functionality, and usability.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand feature requirements and deliver comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Identify, document, and monitor software defects while collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the software meets project requirements.
We are looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or software development, with a focus on mobile and web applications.
- 1+ years of experience in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and solutions PyTest, Selenium (for Python), Allure.
- In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practises.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and knowledge of CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working within an Agile or Kanban development process.
- Good communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate across teams and advocate for quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
- Overall, the role requires multiple skill sets, including problem-solving, troubleshooting, statistical process control, software testing, and, most importantly, automation.
